His life time best would not get him close to the track regional meet as a guy. He will win 3 outdoor titles and a cross title as woman this year. https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/n ... aa1b0.html |

Wake me when the first person on earth gives a single iota of shit about the sanctity of women's "athletics". |

Let them live by the asinine rules they created. It’s not fair in any way, shape, manner or form. Fuck ‘em. Steve Stricker needs to take a weekend and identify as a woman and dominate the LPGA Tour. |

Give zero shits what people do but I have no desire to fuck one of those things and holy shit they should not allow it to participate in women's records. The rules should state you must compete in the gender you were born with, simple as that. If you don't like it don't compete |

I love the headline "Assigned male at birth, Belgrade runner competing on UM women’s cross-country team". Yeah, nature had nothing to do with him being "assigned" as a male. |

Dave Chappelle: Imagine Lebron James changing his gender. Not only would he score 840 pts a game in the WNBA, he'd get 412 gold medals in the olympics. |

i have to be real here, if i had a daughter who had worked her ass off her whole life at a sport... only to have a title taken away by a person born a man.... it would really piss me off. im not sure how you can see it any other way. |

I want to be supportive of such people. I have known a few. But this isn't helping their cause. Perhaps they could have an "open" division. If they did have an open division, however, then schools would be required to offer scholarships to trans people (a la Title IX), which would thin the funds available for others. There are still a ton of athletes who choose schools based on affordability, so this hypothetical Title IX rule could conceivably cause some of them in the future to lose funding. |

as the father of a sophomore girl cross country runner, I know that this would bother me a great deal and the more stories i read like this and like the Yearwood boy in Connecticut that somehow is competing and dominating girls HS races and winning state titles, the angrier I get. At least the IAAF seems to be trying to come to their senses regarding this topic after turning a blind eye towards Castor Semenya, the "transgender" athlete that dominated the women's 800 field at the 2016 Olympics. |

Can't do it that way. He's a WOMAN dammit! Having an "open" division singles them out and makes them feel different. Just like having a separated locker room at school. They have to be with the girls. |
