I find that the General Admission adult passes are the best value, and going on a Tuesday or Wednesday is best, due to the lighter crowds. School field trips are always a challenge, however. |

I like dogs. But they're dirty, mate. Comes with the territory. Change your furnace filters more during this time please. |

Carpet? Vacuum more. Hardwood? Sweep. It’s a pain in the ass, but it works. |

Get a furminstor, it will help. Daily brushing will help keep it manageable. |

My first dog after I moved out was a Dalmatian. You’d figure that short hair dog wouldn’t shed. But they are excessive shedders. Luckily, my two Weimaraners are short haired with near zero shedding. After the Dalmatian, I would never consider a dog that has significant shedding. Such a pain. |

Daily and sometimes twice daily brushing. Do this outside and on a day like today, the wind blows all the fur away. If the dog doesn't like to be brushed hold a Kong or a Frosty Paw in front of him while you brush. It's annoying, but you just have to deal with it as best you can. Wife got tired of sweeping, bought a couple of older roombas. While not perfect they pick up a lot of the dog fur and grim they bring in. Not perfect but they do okay. |

We don't have carpet but I've gotten the sweeping complaints. There are 95 people in my house so I refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on a device. |
