Drug cartel gunmen ambushed three SUVs along a dirt road, slaughtering at least six children and three women — all of them U.S. citizens living in northern Mexico — in a grisly attack that left one of their vehicles a burned-out, bullet-riddled hulk, authorities said Tuesday.

The attack took place in the region of Sierra Madre Occidental.

Did they shit their magic underpants?

These folks had dual citizenship.

the cartels ARE mexico. going in there and 'taking out the cartels' would start a civil war. the majority of the citizens of mexico are deeply connected to the cartels, and it is the majority of their economy.

that said, if you mean we should conquer mexico... sure. that would be great. but what youre asking is something the majority of mexico doesnt want. remember the alamo.

You do realize that at the Alamo it took 1800 Mexicans a week to beat up about 180 rednecks? I think this time around we would be seen in a more favorable light.
