1. Running the ball on 3rd and 15+ in any scenario where clock/field position isn’t a factor
2. Playing NBA stars in the 4th quarter of a 30+ point blowout

Top 2 off the top of my head.

Kicking a FG when making it means you're still down 2+ scores

Passing the ball on 4th and inches.

"Taking the points" inside the 5.
Waiting until the second or third touchdown to go for 2 when down by 15/22.
Taking a timeout to think about whether you want to throw the challenge flag.

Calling anything but a run up the middle on 2nd and 1.

"Icing " the kicker by calling a timeout late and giving him a practice kick.

Seattle throwing on the goal line to let Butler pick it off instead of a hand off to lunch or QB keeper.

Ehh. They don't give u bonus points for not using your timeouts. May as well use them if u have them at the end of a half or game.

Taking a starting pitcher out with a low pitch count who is pitching well because it is going to be the third time through the order.

Thanks Eagloplayer. We’re talking repeatable dumb decisions.

That's a terrible reason to give a kicker a practice kick. If you want to use the timeout, fine. Just use it early so the ball isn't hiked.

You don't have to go for 2 (if you can kick for the tie) in college football, even when you are on the road and an underdog. Pros are different.

somewhat astonishing to me how quickly the "if down by 14 and you score a td, you go for two" craze has taken over.... every team seems to be doing it and it feels like it just started a month ago.

Both have a time and place, both are used far too often though.

This. Or removing him because you want to play the lefty lefty matchup game. If your starter is rolling, ride him for as long as you can.

Not playing the starting unit together at all in the preseason.

on 3rd down not calling a play that will get you the necessary yards for a 1st down ie. throwing a 8 yard pass when you need 11

Gruden running an end around with Trevor Davis on 4th and 1 yesterday was terrible. The play actually worked but he should of known Davis was going to screw it up and he did...

God should have convinced Parkey's mother to have an abortion

I disagree. That's a perfect situation to go downfield using play-action.

Unless you are the Bears under Coach Matt Nagy, where play action is useless.
