I met Rollie Keith (remember him?) one time at a charity benefit at The Henry Harbor Marina.

Very nice, friendly and cordial guy for sure. I can't remember exactly what charity it was but Rollie was generously schmoozing, posing for pictures and extremely accommodating with his time. He came early and stayed the entire day. He just didn't callously pop in for an hour or two and disappear. Class act - he's missed.

Just to comment on the rest of the WGN weather team - watching Morgan Kohlmeyer is unnerving to me because she always has this lobotomized expression on her face. It’s brutal when she fills in for Paul Konrad, which is seemingly 25% of the time.

Demetrius Ivory just sucks - he’s in over his head. I suppose he’s gotten better over the years, but he still makes me cringe frequently. I don’t know if he’s slow or camera shy or what. Hamernik and Jannsen are much more talented.
