My wife found Stranger Things in September. We just started season 3 tonight and I still do not know one characters name. My wife really likes the show though and if I told her I had no interest in watching, it would cause more problems than it is worth. Only 7 more episodes to go!

absolutely none. My wife isn't even allowed to use the remote whether I'm home or not.

I don't really watch shows or get into them because of her. She likes 'This Is Us' and I don't mind when its on. I've probably seen 2/3 of the episodes. On shows or movies like that, rather than get involved or follow all the story lines, I tend to look at how the actors do certain things, the music, the cinematography, etc.

I think the only reason my marriage works is cause my wife doesn't care about TV. She pretty much just watches what I watch or looks at her phone. There's a few reality shows that she likes and we watch those together. And she likes basketball so we watch a lot of that. She keeps a notebook and takes notes all season on college basketball getting ready for her bracket in March.

Only thing is she vetos some of the shows I like and insists that I watch them when she isn't home. Basically just Walking Dead. No big deal since she doesn't get home from work till 9:15 so I have few hours after work to watch anything on the veto list.

swear to god, she's got a notebook solely dedicated to CBB. She likes writing in notebooks, that's her thing I guess. She's been doing that for the last few years since I got back into basketball.

I guarantee she knows more about CBB than anyone on this board other than me. We watch at least a few different games every week night and about 20-30 on the weekends.

She's very passionate about calling technicals on players who hang on the rim too long. I think that's her favorite rule.

Some games I'll just watch the second half which cuts down on the run time, but its a lot. NBA too. A few hours friday night. Saturday it can be all day pretty much starting around 1 or 2 and going till 10. Sunday not as much but still some games throughout the day.

I'll mix it up by throwing in some other type of TV and video games here and there, but yea 13+ hours pretty easily.

get my workouts/playing hockey in Friday afternoon and early Sunday morning. Saturday morning I go to work till about noon. Other than taking the wife out to dinner here and there that pretty much sums up every weekend.

Conns. Dude, I'm so disappointed in you. This was such a great show and you need to start from season 1. I don't know how you didn't have any interest in this. Its Stand By Me meets The Goonies. THE FUCKING GOONIES CONNS.

Season 1 was great.

The best I can say about S2 and S3 was that I watched it through to the end. They were just okay. Steve and Dustin scenes work. The rest was...eh.

The other Walking Dead show. Fortunately, she tired of it. First show I saw, there was this gay interracial makeout session. WTF.

Never watched the Goonies. Well I started it once or twice but could never finish it. Did not like it. My wife loves the Goonies.

I don't find that strange. My wife does as well. At one point she had a notebook with the title of every book she had ever read written in it. I think it's lapsed by now. Her latest is thing is her "Canning Notebook". She's been doing a lot of canning, making jams and jellies and also pickling stuff. I saw the notebook which was full of cursive writing and thought, "what the fuck is this?" It was all notes on canning and various recipes, what worked, what didn't, how much pectin to use in a certain jelly, etc.

My wife has a strange obsession with, as she puts it, "things that go in things". She never saw a container that she didn't like. So canning is like the peak of this obsession.

It's very odd because my wife is also into minimalism and living without a lot of "junk". She might wear something or use something a few times and then give it away. If I bring something into the house her first question is, "what are you going to get rid of?" So we have a whole lot of containers but not many things to put in them.

Overall I've enjoyed it. The third season kind of jumped the shark, but I'll stick with it. I think they are doing a 4th and final season set to release this summer.
