Just saw on the news that weed is legal today. 35 new weed stores in the state. Cash only (good). So who's going to buy weed today? Previous weed smoker , or trying it now that it is legal? They said u cant smoke it in public though. Only in your own house. So yea, although I'd like to try it out, I dont want my house smelling like weed. I'll probly find a place somewhere downstate and buy it. Will feel more airy and natural down there. Fuck Chicago, where theyre worried about color of skin of the customers and owners. |

the lines in Mundelein have been ridiculous (let alone the menu prices). some crazy lady from Woodstock showed up on the 31st. at 5pm. It's $70 for an 1/8th. pre-rolls are $20. gummies seem to be the only reasonably priced item, but even that is high (pun) at $32.50 for 10 (10mg) chews. A 300mg disposable pen was $32.50 as well. No sense in going if you have a guy. #blackmarket |

I am considering heading down in a few weeks once the buzz dies down some. Making a big deal about it up here in SE Wisconsin and how they are going to throw the book at anyone pulled over with any. Used to be big into it in the mid 90s for about 3 years or so. I’ll likely try it out and see if it’s something I want to go back to at all. $70 seems pretty steep for an 1/8th but it’s probably pretty good and I likely won’t need much to feel it. |

How can they prove where you got the weed? Do you have to carry your receipt with you? |

I wouldn't stop at the 1st dispensary across the border, I would try and find one more inland. They might have narcs writing down plates and relaying them back to the other side. Also, don't take 94 back into Wisconsin, go some back roads. |

$70 for an 1/8th isn't terrible. I would sometimes buy an 1/8th of dank back in the day and that would cost me $50-$60. Now , if you just want some shit weed, $70 is insane, but this high grade stuff is better than schwag. |

The high grade stuff on the street is $50 at it's most expensive, and usually you can get it for $40. At times back in the mid 2000's I paid $60 for an 8th, but that was more of a desperate times/only know one guy type of thing. If you're friendly with your current guy and a regular customer and he's still charging you 50-60 for an 8th of high grade then it's time to find a new guy. |

I just started getting into edibles last year but seems much cheaper and healthier than alcohol. The equivalent of a 10mg gummy I’m drinking 8-9 beers or a third a bottle of bourbon. No hangovers and the best sleep I’ve ever had. That being said, probably lucky. Didn’t do it I. High school. Would probably have done it 24/7. |

This was the mid 2000's when I was regularly buying. Nowadays a quarter would probably last me an entire year. |

It must be in a reasonably secured, sealed container, and reasonably inaccessible while the vehicle is moving. |

Not the original packing seal. That's what court's are for. According to you it can be in a zip lock because it's a sealed container. Not sure then why you kept referring to an "official container" then. If the seal from the store is broken anything that is sealed can be an "official container" under your interpretation. My best guess is this will be treated like transportation of alcohol. If it's sealed from the store it can be in the passenger section of the car. If the seal is broken it better be in the trunk and out of reach. |
