This is a poll. You can either post or vote or both. I'm getting a gauge on whether people still think it's interesting enough to do or not. For this year, I'll probably change the format up slightly. I'll create 6 different polls where you can vote for up to 4 people. The top 4 from each will make the next round. That's 24 people.* I'll reserve 8 spots for my discretion from those who don't make it from those polls to make a pool of 32 people and we go from there using the standard 1 vs. 1 format. In the event of shenanigans, I will choose the entire field of 32 based on data in there so don't go creating 100 mults to vote. Though, it looks like I may have the option to bar newly registered users from the forum which would solve that issue. |

You may select 2 options Honestly, doesn't matter either way to me. If it happens, I'll participate and vote. If not, it was (for the most part) fun while it lasted. |

Can we use this to replace the Electoral College as well? + especially since I figure to be a voter by virtue of my past champion status. In which case I vote Brick. |

Rick has always done a great job with the tournament, and his "takes" are often hilarious. Over the past couple years, though, it seems like enthusiasm for the tournament has waned. Board members seem afraid to offend their fellow posters; and as a result, there aren't as many funny exchanges between competitors as there used to be. Voting has also become robotic, often devoid of commentary and seemingly random. I'll participate if Rick organizes the competition again, but if it continues I hope it will be more spirited than it has been recently. If it's not fun, what's the point? |
