What do you think DG is doing with the food they were going to serve but can't because classes are cancelled?

I would guess they did one of two things with the majority of it:

1. Tried to find a way to use it in the meal service during the shutdown
2. They haven’t really worried about it, because the vast majority of it is non-perishable, and schools have way, way bigger things to worry about right now.

Pro tip for you parents out there:
if your school district is requiring e-learning, make sure your kids DO IT. It can only help their grades, not hurt them. ISBE announced today that no grades can go down from e learning, only up (I know, it’s stupid). And knowing ISBE, this will change again tomorrow.
