Wondering how much more of a shit show this would be if Rona reared it's head in the 1960s. LBJ croaked at age 64 in 1973. He looked 74 when he was getting sworn in while sharing an airplane with Jackie O and the top half of JFK's skull. Covid in 1964 kills half the country easy. |

They had more smokers (percentage-wise), but they didn't have as much obesity. No good sunblock, either; you don't even need to be white for that to age you. I guess we are fatter but with better skin (apart from the addicts). |

I used to smoke five packs of cigarettes a day. It was the hardest thing to put them away. |

Between everyone smoking 2+ packs a day and all the leaded gasoline exhaust in the air, it would have been the smallpox blankets all over again. |
