We have the same last name as do our kids. It's our name, not my name or her name. |

I have my husband's last name. I have an email with my maiden name and I can't bring myself to get rid of it. Every once and a while I think about who I was when I had my maiden name and I miss that girl. She had tons of energy and was a lot of fun. |

You can't inherit the family titles and estates if you don't take the name. Your choice. |

To answer the question at hand...my wife uses my name in every capacity except her legal name. It was too much hassle to go through the process with work, so she didn't change that... |

My situation is a little different. My wife took my last name, had it legally changed. but, i still call her by her maiden name instead cause, as I constantly tell her, she hasn't earned it yet. |
