Tough call, the residue from 2016 might put Covid over the top. |

It's not tough at all. Viewing active topics during M-F daytime hours shows it. |

People clearly have gone over the edge discussing anything that can even remotely be tied to politics in the Age of Trump. Whether they be Trumpets or afflicted with TDS (but mainly those with TDS). |

Whether they be Trumpets or afflicted with TDS (but mainly those with TDS). It's a mental disease and its been going strong since 2008. People are addicted to rage, and it became so much worse with social media.. First it was idiots screaming "OBAMA!" at every possible blurb in the news, and now it has moved on to Trump. When every piece of news turns your outrage to 10, the outrage just starts to fall on deaf years. There's plenty to criticize Obama and Trump about, but MANY are just not capable of expressing themselves without dialing back the rage. There's an entire economy now that preys on these types of people. From bumper stickers, to "lock her up" shirts, to pussy & MAGA hats. It's a shame these dopes can't see they are being played daily. |

I agree with most of this. We didn't discuss politics until W's last year in office. The change was primarily because of Obama and Hillary. Even the boards biggest W, Hillary and Obama fanatics would acknowledge areas where they believed they made a mistake. That has changed. You aren't allowed to to publicly disagree with the president if you're "pro Trump" and I believe that causes most of the rage to overflow. Trump doesn't believe that he's ever done anything wrong and his supporters generally fall in line. Then both sides dig in. |

We can't judge until more of this plays out.....the Rona virus has the potential to win this thing, but it's too early to call. |
