Just remember this when some hysterical nutjob tries and lecture you with statistics about how more people are dying and how it must be corona. They dont want to consider how many more suicides and car crashes there have been.

Misleading...fewer crashes, but higher rate of fatalities.

People have been driving like maniacs for 2 months+.

I have to pull over to the right doing 80-85 so as not to get run over.

A guy on a bike yesterday was doing minimum 110mph weaving through 3 lanes at 4pm in the afternoon on the expressway.

yea i think it's pretty clear why fatalities would be up...cops aren't pulling anyone over and people clearly are aware of that

Is that just in town? I’ve noticed an uptick in Eureka when I’ve dropped animals off at locker or picked up beef but in between it’s still pretty dead. It’s been a couple months since I’ve been over to Peoria though so I’m not sure how 40 is between Tanners and Peoria.

I was just thinking of starting a thread about traffic, and how it's creeping back to normal. For a while there I could run across busy arterial roads with impunity, not anymore.

It's so busy around here that it's a bigger pain in the ass than normal.

All over. My Mom's in a nursing home in Eureka and I've noticed more traffic every time I go see her. Haven't been in the Tanners direction in a while.

I've noticed more traffic this past week but it is still 30-40% of the normal amount.

I-90 and Rte 53 are just about back to feeling like normal around 8AM and from 4PM to 6PM. Not quite there yet, but it is way more normal than mid April.
