I'm not even a fan and hoped that Leno would make another return. That being said, the cancel culture has lost their fucking minds. A guy who did a comedy skit 20 years ago should lose his job because he wore black face? GTFOH! He shouldn't have apologized. Someone has to stand up and tell them to go fuck themselves.

I really enjoyed Leno and thought he got an undeserved tough time. He wasn't particularly edgy. He wasn't weird like Conan. He didn't get overtly political. It was just entertainment and super easy to watch. The current menu of options is entirely unbearable. Just political shit.

If I'm allowed to comment on the topic (never know in today's world), I'd agree with Jamie Foxx. What about Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder? There are plenty of examples.

Then you kind of get into the Megyn Kelly thing, which is somewhat similar, yet a tad different.

It's funny to get upset at Downey for Tropic Thunder. The blackface is a gag that is central to the movie. Are we also angry at Stiller playing Simple Jack?

RDJ’s Tropic Thunder role was satire that was ridiculed throughout the movie by the other actual black actor in the movie. The whole joke was clowning on method actors, and how extreme they take their jobs.

He was nominated for an Oscar, and MANY think he would have won that year if not for Ledger’s Joker.
