In a fit of rage and drunkenness, drove across MANY lawns, took out a couple of mailboxes, part of a fence, then got my car up over 100 MPH on the Dan Ryan back in 2003 or 2004. I am amazed that the three of us in the car all ended up at home rather than in jail or the morgue. |

When I was 19 my dad bought me a car and then when I got home I yelled at him and my mom for ordering thin crust pizza. I liked pan/thick whatever. |

I had my young sons ride with me on a tractor not designed for extra persons. My younger son got entangled in there rear tire and was dragged through the fender, breaking his leg and nearly ending in my running over him. Worst day of my life, still brings tears to my eyes today to tell it. Twenty years ago, this fall. |

Passed out driving home from a bar. Put my car in a ditch. Was able to get a hold of a friend who came and pulled my car out before any cops saw me. But I did get a DUI about a month later. |

I will be giving the drunk driving lecture to our kids. |
