I am not crazy about either.... I still love Pat & Ron. I know Pat is past his prime, but he is still a great listen. |

I think the two sets of broadcasters are pretty even. Benneti and Kasper differ in their focus, with Benneti wanting to broadcast anything any day and Kasper only doing baseball between Marquee and Fox. Benneti will eventually get the Sunday Night Baseball got, and Jerry will have to decide if he's ok only having Jason on Sox broadcasts Monday night through Friday night. Stone is the absolute best at first-guessing, but he seems to be an asshole in general. JD is more balanced and still has a lot of insight, and I'd rather watch a game in a bar with him. Where Marquee has fucked up so far is in their production. They are more reliant on annoying personalities like Dempster, so they really want to treat the game more like a talk show. I don't like that, but at least the fraction of games aren't on ABC 7 with the annoying 3rd or 4th inning newsroom guest. Marquee's graphics are also shitty compared to the Fox lower right display. So right now, I'd have to go with NBCSC. |

too early to tell on marquee and who knows what they had planned if there were fans. so right now sox but the poll should have an 'incomplete' choice. |

Benneti and Stone are an absolute joy to listen to. Sox > Cubs |

Sox coverage is more well oiled. Bennetti and Stone are great. But I think Marquee is fine so far. I like the graphics and everything. |

Stone is in the hall of the very overrated. Never learn much listening to him. |

Steve Stone is the best. I can't believe he's been with the Sox 10 years already. Wasn't Dusty the reason he left? I miss Stoney! |

And Benneti is fine and I love his history and his battling through his physical disabilities. What I think on the broadcast that is bad is the camera work. They really don't cover the action on the field. I think that they really do not have the number of camera angles that past TV covered or possibly the production czar is late in directing the cameras to cover what is going on in the field. It really is a poor camera production at any event. |
