I would've created this in the Sox Subdivision but poll creation isn't an option there for some reason

With that said, who is the AL MVP for the 2020 season?

You can make a strong case for either option here and not be wrong.

The only way to truly get this one wrong would be to try to name some putz from another team (like Nelson "0 RBIs in the biggest series of the season" Cruz)

Tim's 10 games short. You just can't give the batting champion the MVP when he doesn't have as many hits as the power guy.

It’s Jose.

It's a cakewalk up to this point despite the the advocacy for Tim I've been hearing lately. Stone points out the positions they play, and Anderson has improved, but he still ranks only 18th. It isn't like he turned into Francisco Lindor out there.

Jose Abreu is definitely the MVP. He's the primary leader of the White Sox, he's been a beast on offense, he's improved significantly on defense and he's played 11 more games than Tim. This season he's been a model of leadership, consistency and dominance.

I can't choose. They will have to share it.
