I know that you have been very reluctant to out any mults and I understand why. However, Juggs has gone from mildly entertaining to stalkerish to now downright inappropriate.

In the Steve Phillips thread, Juggs compares the humble looking woman that Steve Phillips had an affair with to Redneck Mommy. This is over the line.

I hope that I am not the only one that feels that this mult has gone far above and beyond any harmless ribbing to an area of stalkerish-ness and inappropriate-ness that shouldn't be tolerated. So I ask you please either ban this mult or let us all know who it is.

I agree with both Pasta and Doug above. I agree with the who gives a shit thought because if you are getting yourself all worked up over this mult, then there is obviously a problem. And I also agree with the "Juggs is a troll" thought. If you keep feeding the troll, he will keep coming back. A simple ignore on Juggs post will make him disappear once people stop giving him the attention he wants.

I think it's beyond just a simple ignore. You are asking an entire group to be able to ignore a poster and as nice as that sounds, it just isn't going to happen. Sure if a fly gets into my house I can ignore it - until it starts to buzz my head constantly and get in my face - then it becomes time for the flyswatter.

I don't think anyone really even feeds the troll NSJ anymore. The shit just appears, sometimes people say "STFU", and that's it.

I think the banhammer is a tool which should be deployed very judiciously. I've advocated for it only once (GoldenDomer). Exposing trolls is perhaps just as serious, but when you go around harassing several members of the board, I don't see why it's so important that you have your anonymity maintained. As soon as everyone finds out who it is, the character will be done and that person will probably be done on the board. And that's fine.

I think the board has handled outing and banning with sufficient sophisticaton in the past and has continued to do so now. Banning and/or outing Juggs would be appropriate here.

Put Juggs on your foe list and he's easy to ignore. I put Jimmy Reardon on ignore and my board experience has improved dramatically.

There have been a HUGE number of mults banned in the past few weeks, I am really surprised Juggs made the cut.

From what I understand in the past he has RFDC in extreme situations. I would call this one extreme. Family members should just be off limits - period. That shit will get you hurt in real life - seriously. No one wants to see things come to that level of stupidity and before you all post it, yes I know - guilty as charged. But family members - husbands, wives, kids - off limits - even if and especially if one or both post here.

I rarely disagree with you DT but on this one I have to. ESPECIALLY A MULT. A mult gives cowards license to post negative shit that they would never have the sack to post as their real persona because their board experiene would cease to exist; especially here - with Steve being the rare exception. Say what you will about him but he has weathered a shitstorm of scrutiny and posted all under his own name. At least he has the balls to say it under his own moniker.
