North Carolina (of course) Tennessee Washington State (rural only) If you actually like snow, Idaho I know half a dozen people from Illinois either in the process of moving to TN (like they are building a house) or who are waiting for a life event like a pension kicking in or a kid graduating high school and then are planning on moving there. |

Montana Alaska A warm state to be named later. Honorable mentions to: Not a state but Nunavut since there are too many people in Alaska and Montana. Arkansas for their bitching mountain bike trails I’ve heard so much about. |
