I can say we aren't comfortable with going to Milwaukee for a few weekends if crime is way up. I'd prefer not to be shot, mugged, or car jacked like what's happening in Chicago. Lake Geneva might also be an option and I'd be fine with that. |

There was at least one car jacking in Westmont about 6 months ago, one in Naperville last week, a woman in Aurora was car jacked and shot, one recently near the mayor's house and one near Sears Tower. Quite a few burglaries by us. I'm not feeling really safe in the suburbs anymore, I can't imagine Chicago is better. And I don't know if it matters that I am safe or not, the perception that I am not is there. I can't say I don't believe you, but I'm not going downtown anytime soon either. |
