Shit not me. I haven't gotten a speeding ticket since 1995. I was just asking because yesterday my wife was looking out the window and some chick casually tossed her McDonald's trash on our lawn and the wife starts knocking hard on the window, the chick looked up and my wife drops a very casual 'what the fuck bitch' at her and she kinda shrugged and picked up the trash and moved on. So she said she's got to keep an eye out cause that chick will be dumping shit on people's lawn soon enough like how you start speeding again 20 minutes after a ticket.

To answer the OP's question, I had a lawyer acquaintance tell me that in NC the cops don't ticket for up to 7 over on state highways and interstates, except in small speed trap town where the limit drops to 35.

It is easy to do 77 in a 70 around here, which is fast enough for me.

My last speeding ticket was in 1991, on Christmas Eve day, for doing 35 in a 4 lane 25. I didn't get a warning because the cop obviously didn't want to be on duty.

So I don't remember how that changed my driving habits other than the six months of whatever they used to call "continue and suspend" when I drove like an angel.

I’ve been pulled over but never given a speeding ticket and only ticket was for an accident in Montana 21 years ago. Unless you count that bullshit photo cop in Cedar Rapids but technically my wife got that ticket.

Was pulled over last spring for a rolling drip (if 25 mph is rolling) and I figured the officer was going to ticket my ass. I’m assuming clean record, being semi local, there being zero traffic out and the stop being uneventful hit memory with a warning. I’m assuming she was sitting there to get out of area people getting off the interstate as those tend to not involve going to court.

Anyways, I’m very careful at that corner now.
