Is there any free way to dispose of it? ComEd has stopped the program they had where they would take them.

Offer it to a lawn care crew. They took dressers, book shelves, snow blowers etc. when I moved recently. Or put it on Next Door.

You can't just dump it on a neighbor's lawn and then hightail it back to your place?

The doorbell cameras fuck that up.

Put it out the night before garbage day. Will be gone by morning.

Throw it on Craigslist or something and surely somebody will come by and take it as a garage/beer fridge. You might even be able to get a few bucks out of it.

If Billy doesn't want to touch it, it has to be a freebie. I also think Craigslist will do the job of getting rid of it, labor-free.

Just sit by the curb with a free sign on it.

wife hates the current fridge. it had the audacity to sorta freeze asparagus that was placed on the top shelf last weekend so that apparently was the final straw. so it (current fridge) is moving to the garage and the garage fridge that came with the house now has to go.

seems like cfmb is confident in the ability of scrapers to scrap it so it appears the best bet will be to just leave it on the curb.

Seems like that fridge is working perfectly fine to me. :D

If any of these fridges are working perfectly, I may be interested in one for my other house. I got rid of the big Kenmore I had there as it was worth something and would rather have had the money. But I would like something to keep things cold while I'm over there working.

If it's no longer working. Just put it out the night before. The scrappers will get it. They might leave the plastic trays and shit from inside though. When I had one shit the bed a few years ago, I put it out around 7pm, by about 8 I looked out and it was gone, sans plastic bins and what not.

Ha, forgot to update. I Put it on craigslist for $50 and it sold in less than a day. The guy loaded the damn thing by himself on to his pickup which was damn impressive.

What washer is on the curb? I may want it.

We just bought a new washer, and I hate it. We should have kept the 35 year old Maytag.

Ours was still working.

Washers without agitators are fucking worthless.

They sure are. We got rid of our front loading washer and got an old school one with an agitator. Very happy with it.

We brought our heavy duty speed queen when we moved to this house a couple years ago. It ain't pretty, but it's built well. Handles lots of towels and oversized loads.

The curbside combo finally disappeared this afternoon, while we were visiting the inlaws.

I cleaned out the barn the other day and took in a load of scrap metal to the recyclers, included an old oil furnace from my neighbor's barn that he had put out for free, plus an old NG furnace I've been harding for 20 plus years, along with the usual broken grape posts and oil filters.

Scrap price is ten times what it was last trip I made, $200/ net ton. Last time I got $11 for a load, this week, $132.

I'm surprised your laundry pair lasted as long as they did!
