Whoever it is, it needs to be somebody who uses simple logic to debunk all of Mike's Monday Morning QB/highly illogical emotional rants.

For example, Mike North can say that trading for Jim Thome was a bad trade, but there should be somebody there to explain to him that it was a great trade, and it's not the reason why the current team stinks.

Matty. Paruch would be a good choice, but I think he'd get bullied around by Pappy. Drinky seems to have the combination of strong enough convictions, decent enough analysis, and enough leverage with the station that he could duke it out with North on a daily basis and keep both his sanity and ego intact.
