Anyone see the surveillance video? Terrifying man. The building goes down like it was a controlled implosion demolition, then a few seconds later another section drops. One confirmed dead, 99 missing. Imagine that. You're just sleeping in bed and a second later 20 floors above you are laying on top of you. Why it happened is unknown but they did know a section was sinking for over 20 years. Someone even suggested global warming is the cause. |

I'm getting sick watching these rescue workers under the rubble because I feel like that could just drop at any time. |

That was terrifying. I had a condo just north of there in a building that looked just like that on the A1A. I thought that was building when I first saw it. I never felt comfortable there. It was a business condo so this is no humblebrag. |

This happened, what around 1:30am their time... So you figure a few people had to be up. How would like to be in that second section, watching in horror as the first section goes down, then all the sudden the floor falls out from under you as your section goes. At least the first section, no one in it knew, and probably the inevitable was over quickly... |

I also heard they recently constructed a building immediately adjacent and also put a new roof on the one that collapsed so you have to wonder if either played into it. |
