If anyone knows how to set up an appointment or where to show up currently to discuss a personal tax issue, your help would be much appreciated. |

The closest office to you may be the one in Morton Grove. I had to go there twice for audits. The first time I was on the way over there with my accountant- who is also one of my close friends- and he told me, "Look, the guy who is handling this is a real asshole. He's weird too." I was like, "What do you mean weird?" My accountant just said, "Weird weird." So we go in there and meet the agent and when he talks it's in this indescribably bizarre voice. It was all I could do not to laugh. When we got done and were back in the car I said to my accountant, "Why didn't you tell me about his voice?" He said, "I told you he was weird." A couple years later my accountant calls me back and says, "I was over in Morton Grove with another client today and you won't believe it. The guy who handled your audit has a new name and she's wearing a dress!" |
