I won’t count Ronnie Woo Woo. That’s a long story. Cap Boso was at UofI for a Bears exhibition game with Hampton and Trace Armstrong at Kam’s. Armstrong was a massive human. Wasn’t around Hampton much. But Cap was up to party. Cap Boso. What a name! |

Not insignificant (so I’m ignoring your subject, but…) Jermaine Dye was at a football tailgate when I was an undergrad. Shortly after the WS MVP and I was drunk enough to profess my love for him. He did not reciprocate. Nice guy, wins World Series. No idea if he buys beers. |

My guy Adam Greenberg. What he lacked in height and major league at bats he made up for in personality. He was just a ball of energy and fun as hell to hang with. It took a while but I eventually got the boom box story. |

Had some beers at a BBQ that Matt Forte and Kellen Davis were at probably around 2010 or so. I talked to them a little bit but my conversation went nowhere. |

I was at Bootlegger's happy hour one time when Johnny B's bus party came through. Drank a bit at the bar with Danny Bonaduce but he wouldn't let me buy him a shot. He looked in rough shape and the night was early. The bus moved on. Hey, he had a Chicago show and he boxed a couple times, so he qualifies. |

On my first business trip to NYC, we ended up at a pretty typical Manhattan pub. I sit down and right next to me is Brian Cox. He was on the Jets at the time. I enjoyed my beer(s). |

Mongo McMichael Bachelor party in his restaurant. Guy was throwing out $50s and $100s left and right to the strippers. |

I had a fairly long conversation with Rongey at one of the board meet ups. I didn't know who he was until the end. |

The cool thing about him is that he knows that everyone knows his story but it doesn't impact the way he lives his life. He still tries to enjoy life. He doesn't really have a bad disposition at all from where I see it. |

MANY beers were had by our group with Dave Wills at TCs before he left for Tampa. His Cubs/Wrigley hate was absolutely real, and only seemed to intensify with each beer

Unlike many from the neighborhood, I refused to go to the All Star games when my guy Tim Hardaway was going. I shuddered to think about how much he was spending to cover their partying. Jalen Rose when he was with the Bulls for a minute |

He actually was at our guy's day party down in Houston when the Bears played there that year. |

I definitely think he was someone you did not want to mess with, but especially when alcohol was involved. |

If you're talking about the same place I'm thinking of, that club was always filled with hot women.. and athletes. (I can't remember the name of the place, as a married guy with two young kids, all I could do was drink and laugh with the guys who weren't trying to make new friends) |

Paje's on Milwaukee. There also was the Sinibar up the street too. I met me a new friend that night and Oakley drove on her when I went to the bathroom. It was funny because they were playing in Houston that night and he had the limo bring him there as soon as they got in from the game. Me and her had been talking for a minute when I noticed him checking her out from the bar. I said OK Oakley is in here and he is checking my chick. I had to piss and at first I thought about doing the ball and chain move and asking her to wait outside the restroom for me. I knew his thirsty ass was going to get at her as soon as I stepped off. When I got back she was hollering at him at the bar. I just chilled in the cut while they talked and once they finished she came back where I was standing and my guy was like "oh you sweating Charles Oakley huh? She replied yeah I met the asshole and we resumed conversing. A few days later I read this article in the paper about the limo he was in getting clipped outside the club. I told my people I was in there when this happened. He was hollering at my woman that night! |

I told my people I was in there when this happened. He was hollering at my woman that night! That's exactly the spot I was thinking about. A buddy always had the company sky box for Bulls games and he invariably would want to stop there after games. As an aside, one night a brand new friend got poached by James Worthy. He didn't bother waiting for me to step away. And I got nothing to laugh about |
