Clocks go back on November 7th. I hope mine goes back to when when people had, Morals, Values, Loyalty, Appreciation, and Respect. Like if you agree! |

I was driving at night on Saturday in "farm country" and all the farmers were working in the dark. Why didn't these stupid farmers just wait until Sunday morning to work in all the extra daylight? You mean I have to change all the clocks in my house and they aren't even going to hold up their end of the deal? |

Farmers are, without exception, the new Teamsters--lazy and drunk jerks. Edit: People who grew up on farms, too. |

i like it. used to hate it, but it does keep the daylight hours more consistent with time on the clock. |

I hate daylights savings time. I do not need to see sunlight early in the morning but rather would have more of it in the afternoon. It screws up your sleep. If you have to rise early, now you're getting up at 3:30 a.m. because it feels like 4:30 a.m. Coffee only helps for an 1 hr. and then you're struggling. It's the stupidest thing in the world and completely unnecessary. |

That being said, set the fucker back and leave it. |

Sunrise on June 22 is 0516 DST which would be 0416 standard time, with astronomical twilight being when the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon, which is on average 30-45 minutes before actual sunrise. |

Sorry I kept it simple. As a twenty something coming back from the clubs and as an older fart, it's not dayrise no matter what the astronomical society may say. |

As a city person only two things mattered, streetlights and actual daybreak. |

Yeah I don't know exactly when the sunrise time is, but there are like 4 weekends in a row starting in mid June that you can (and I have) start a round of golf before 5am with plenty of daylight to see whats going on the first hole or two. |

Standard time would be real rough in summer. Daylight time, with sunrise as late as almost 8:30 around Christmas would be rough too. It's the joy of living at a northern latitude. Clock doesn't mean as much to be these days. Wake up when its time to work, go to bed when work is done or you are too tired to work. More dictated by the weather and calendar than to the clock I guess. |
