I remember thinking it would take a man 600 years to fell a tree with that thing. Old Midget did it in less than 20.

Get yourself a tactical axe. I think I saw Chris Tanto Paronto hawking one that you can use to cut down trees, inflate your tires or as a safety whistle if a more capable man with a better axe attacks you.

Estwing has a 26” campers axe that is light and balanced that is an absolutely great axe. Not sure how big the trees are that you are looking to take down but I do prefer a chainsaw for taking trees down.

There is axe-ually an axe-throwing store/business/gathering place nearby, I just can't see enough demand for that, myself.

I suggest you smash up them tomato cages and forge a Damascus steel axe of your own.

Or, are you just looking for an excuse to grow the lumber-sexual beard?
