Was having a few beers with buddies yesterday and we started talking about 'roided up dudes we used to run into at the gym back in the day. We all have encountered the guy wearing Zuba's, lugging a gallon jug of distilled water, who mean mugs everyone that gets near them. One guy talked about the gym owner having to call the cops because he and the guy he was lifting with wouldn't get off the incline bench when a steroid freak dropped his bag on his lap and told him and his buddy to, "stop embarrassing themselves and get off my bench", always interesting to get together with 40-50 year old buddies and talk about some of the stupid behaviors we used to deal with in our hapless youths.

Sorry you grew up in a bad 80's movie, but I've never experienced or seen anything like that outside of bad 80's movies. You fuck with someone in a gym and they sulk away and wait for you to be on your 8th rep, 4th set of max weight on the free weight bench (either that day or the next or the next) and then bounce back and fuck up your shit real quick.

This cracked me up. Guess I hang with guys that spent a lot more time in the gym than you do, or at least with guys that were or still are hitting the power lifter gyms, for those that missed it the late 80's top mid 90's were different for sure than today, especially if you are a member of the male species, but wouldn't expect the younger dudes to relate because the masculinity level has been radically dialed back.
