Ever fuckin actually taken a polar plunge?? That is, plunged into a great lake or some other body o' water during the winter or freezin' temperatures? How did it feel, and would u do it again?? Did u meet any women out there that were also takin' the plunge? Did it lead to any future sex? |

I did it once (2015?) and started a thread about it here, with permission from bigfan. A couple days later he proceeded to make fun of people who jumped in the lake saying it wasn't necessary, and the donations basically tripled overnight  It was cold, but wasn't quite the shock to the system that everybody says. Maybe because I was amped up and was in the water for literally 3 seconds. It was fun, well organized, and a great cause. I would not hesitate to do it again. |

I'd rather force myself to lose 30 lb and run another Marathon than do one single polar plunge. That just seems like it would be un-Godly awful. |
