Wonder if there are any contractors or suppliers who have a gut feeling on if material prices will come down or continue to go up in the near future? Trying to figure out if this is a good time to greenlight a kitchen remodel or if we should hold up and wait for materials to come down a bit.

Have a good contractor ready to go, but of course the supplier keeps telling us to go now or prices will keep going up.

That is an issue because the supplier Mrs. Claws is working with keeps increasing the cost of the cabinets.

As most guys that have gone through a kitchen remodel likely know it takes quite a bit of time for most women to select what they want in any remodeling project, magnify that by 100% when it comes to a kitchen remodel, but as most guys that have been involved in any relationship for any period of time know, you just let them work through it while trying to keep the costs somewhat reasonable.

Can almost guarantee that she will take one look when it's done and say how much she hates everything, but at this point I just want it done.

Women want and need something to complain about. Better to give them relatively meaningless, low-hanging fruit like poor interior design choices than have them complaining about you paying the baby sitter for road-head when you drive her home or that time you got the nanny pregnant or that time you fucked her sister. It's all about pawn sacrifices to protect the truly important peccadilloes.
