Anyone ever seen this? A large random sum was just paid to one of my cc accounts. I didnt place it. Theres no pending transaction from my bank account. And on the credit card statement, the space wheres theres always a transaction number says 'not applicable'. Its a weird amount to, like $1503.00 i would never pay an odd number like that. Really weird.

this was so stupid. wells fargo. i applied to a $10k card to balance transfer a couple other cards to it, to get 24months 0% apr. made sure all the rules i needed applied and whatever.

mind you, my credit is good. i just got a 20k line of credit for a welder. only approved 2k of it, so it wouldnt hit my credit score that bad.

so wells fargo sends notice that approval needs review. yea no shit, my name is spelled wrong. i called them, and they went through a 30min process where they finally determined my name was spelled wrong.

ok cool. approved. a week later i get the card in the mail. $1500 limit. what the fuck is that shit? whatever, i didnt even activate it.

now two weeks after that, i get $1300 some odd dollars on one of my other cards statements. thats why there was no transaction number or anything, it was just the max balance transfer that wells fargo allowed because they only approved $1500 limit.

all this happened automatically after the initial approval for $10k. what bastards. now this card is sitting in a drawer for basically no reason.
