I'm not a tattoo person, but I saw Adam Savage's ruler tattoo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kYtfwKXzSQ&t=31s), and thought it was pretty cool. The comments in the video mentioned some other ideas for useful tattoos, such as one with your blood type or other critical medical information.
