I used to get paid $7.50 an hour at the Y to lifeguard the 5:30-8:30AM shift, which was time and a half. 5 years and had to jump in once for some old lady who walked in circles around the shallow end and walked too far into the deep end once. Didn't even bake me any cookies or anything for saving her life. |
