Facts about Clark Street Sports: Original location was on Clark near Addison. It's still there and the owners will never allow it to disappear. However, this is NOT the location with the most revenue. Location with most revenue: on Lawrence. That is also where their big-ass warehouse is. So go there if u want it from the fuckin' horse's mouth. Company was started solely by a black guy named Forrest. He died. He then passed it on to 4 people: A Jew, an Albanian, and 2 other dudes. They have since expanded to many other locations in the city and suburbs. Funny how Forrest never bitched and moaned or bragged about being a black-owned business. He just went out and fuckin did it. We are Chicagoans and we need to know these things. |
