Forest Glen is far less fashionable. There are some great houses in that neighborhood but you also get a decent amount of hillbillys who treat their property like an extension of the forest preserve. I'm talking about the area south of Peterson and east of Cicero. It actually has really great architectural diversity but the lots are smaller. I prefer that area in some ways. It's not like I live in one of the great houses of the neighborhood. I bought mine from one of my old teachers. |

A friend's father lived in that little house on Cicero just south of Forest Glen that is the last holdout with McMansions dwarfing it on either side. It was a nice little house in the 70s but now it looks like something that you'd find in Bensenville. |
