I have not been there in years so I don't know if they still have it but I remember Lambert Airport in St. Louis had a clever combination of diagonal and pull through. You would pull in diagonally, pick up or drop off your passenger, and then pull through to a parallel roadway (adjacent to the curb) and head out from there. So no silly backing up into the flow of traffic. |

Pre backup cameras a good parallel park job was always satisfying. Also entertaining to watch it being done poorly. |
