Alright, before we begin, really think about it.

I love Dave Chappelle. I'm watching some comedy stage YouTube video where he is drunk and high and just throwing stuff out. Some of it is funny.

But the crowd laughs at everything. He clears his throat and they laugh.

Does that help him? He can say anything and people laugh because they are supposed to do so.

It's weird.

We're all conditioned to conform. No one RESISTS 100% of the time. Laughter is contagious, just like yawning.

I used to laugh in anticipation of what Norm MacDonald would say on SNL. That may have been the reason why MANY laughed and the other people just fell in line.

It seems to me that live comedy makes you want to laugh. I watch some comedian specials on TV and barely break a laugh. Put me in an audience and I'd probably be amused by a Harry Teinowitz and Spike Manton show
