Post subject:  Hurricane Ian
With the upcoming disaster in a few hours I think it's time to once again point out that we keep on building up population in areas we know will be hit by a larger than average amount of serious natural disasters because people don't want to deal with snow and cold and then the expectation is the people that the people who don't get to take advantage of the overall nice weather in areas like that will bail them out with money because of yet another billion dollar hurricane.

Actually the past two years have had a low occurrence of hurricanes hitting the United States so that kinda upsets the climate change narrative.

I know of 4-5 families personally that moved to Florida during the COVID because they wanted their kids to have IN-PERSON schools and were tired of the mandates and lockdowns of 2020 and that extended into 2021. Many people are fleeing to RED states for freedom from overreaching government, lower crime and lower taxes.

I know 12 or so people who moved to Florida in the last 2 years, it had nothing to do with the weather. Same goes for the 5 or 6 families that went to Texas.

my kids were in school and I didn't have to rip them out of their environment to do it

which part of Florida doesn't have crime?

I guess being able to drink at the original Hooters a few months before everyone else made the decision worth it

Thanks for proving my point. If you wanted your kids IN-SCHOOL in 2020, you had to shell out for private school..one of the reasons people fleed this shithole state.
