With the upcoming disaster in a few hours I think it's time to once again point out that we keep on building up population in areas we know will be hit by a larger than average amount of serious natural disasters because people don't want to deal with snow and cold and then the expectation is the people that the people who don't get to take advantage of the overall nice weather in areas like that will bail them out with money because of yet another billion dollar hurricane. |

We should force everyone to live in the West. Balance the population of the country. Who cares if there isn't any water. That's what engineers are for. |

Since climate change isn't real, I'm quite certain hurricanes will be less common in the future. Keep moving to the Florida coast, peeps! |

Actually the past two years have had a low occurrence of hurricanes hitting the United States so that kinda upsets the climate change narrative. |

Brick wrote: because people don't want to deal with snow and cold . This also isn't entirely true. I know of 4-5 families personally that moved to Florida during the COVID because they wanted their kids to have IN-PERSON schools and were tired of the mandates and lockdowns of 2020 and that extended into 2021. Many people are fleeing to RED states for freedom from overreaching government, lower crime and lower taxes. Liberalism is destroying this country, not climate change. |

But they are losing population. |

Same goes for the 5 or 6 families that went to Texas. |

I guess being able to drink at the original Hooters a few months before everyone else made the decision worth it |

The taxes will empty your savings. |

If you wanted your kids IN-SCHOOL in 2020, you had to shell out for private school..one of the reasons people fleed this shithole state. |
