Religion, though outdated and mostly useless these days, did have a net positive impact on the world. Just treat it like landlines and steam powered locomotives and be glad it happened and be glad it's mostly gone. |

Wars are fought over territory and resources. Yes, tribalism/religion, whichever you want to call it, can also be a factor, but it doesn't override the essential reason stated. |
