"Woke" is white people pretending to care about important social issues, human rights and equality for all on social media when in real life they don't really give a shit about any of it. These are the types that hope to never be around blacks, gays or trans but love to have the appearance of having a bleeding heart to impress their white friends who also don't give a shit. Then those white friends have to pretend to be impressed and subsequently have to join the "pretend game" to show their fake white friends they are like them.

Yup, allows people who want to seem sympathetic act like they care, and then they go home and kick their dog, or belittle a local sports person for their physical apperance, yet pile on when another local sports person makes a joke about someones physical appearance.

You must carefully balance out the likes you get for appearing woke to make sure you can get away with saying something unwoke, very difficult "calculus" as our little pal Danny Parkins likes to say.

The main goal is to maintain the status quo by confusing people and obfuscating the issues so that nothing ever really gets done and problems never get solved, and if that is the goal then it has been incredibly successful.

It's like when you were a kid and you'd go to your grandparents house and afterwards your parents would have to have a discussion with you about some of the things they said but instead of your grandparents saying those things it is a few politicians, Roseanne Barr, and a pillow salesman.
