I dont think i have ever used a laser to shine a plane before... but I did use a green one in the rain while driving. when it hits the road signs it seems alien like. its really freaking cool. i dont know what the charge would be for that though... i wasnt shining it at cars that much and obviously not flying at all just driving in poor conditions. i think snow works well too, you can see the beam forever.

that would be cool to make underwear that shines laserbeams at a bunch of angles when you pull down your pants. btw i just had a bartender ask to see what pajamas i was wearing under my jeans. i quickly proceeded to take my belt off and she turned away and said no. i don't get it... she asked?
