It's not looking good that they will find anyone alive, if they find the submarine at all. I watched a news
story on CNN that they have six or seven days of oxygen tops, if the submarine hull has not already
collapsed under the extreme pressure, which I think is the most likely scenario.

I don't get how the enterprise could even be viable that they are operating without any kind
of underwater tracking that this would even happen that the sub is lost. Who would even sign
up for something like this, let alone pay $250K?

It reminds me of this chilling scene from the Abyss.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkhBPF4 ... ardHalifax

People do crazy things for thrills without thinking about the risk. Like the recent story about the
Indian man who lost his wife sky parachuting in Florida, who slammed into a bridge and died after the operator
cut the line in bad weather and high waves. The guy blames the company for not being safe, and that's true; but
it's also his fault for having his wife and two children do this type of thing in the first place.

I'm going to open up a business taking tourists to see the wreckage of the submarine that was taking tourists to see the wreckage of the Titanic.

Hopefully the screen doors hold up on the sub.

If you are willing to pay 250K just to see a sunk ship, you probably aren't a Mensa candidate to begin with

Just read the Clive Cussler book where Dirk Pitt raises the Titanic . Same experience for the price of a paperback.

i was fascinated by this book when i was a little kid. My mom had read it and it was on the bookshelf in our den and the name just grabbed my 9 or 10-year old imagination. I remember reading and it not understanding 90% of what was going on, but shit, they were gonna Raise the Titanic!

what normal person would want to ride in that thing? One look even online and it's an easy no way.

These billionaires have the need to show off to the world that they own this or did that that regular people don't. That's the entire reason why there are haves and have nots. The haves want to make sure everyone knows they have and the rest don't.

"I'm going on a sub to see the Titanic you losers! Because I can! You can't and will never be able to! I have money and you don't! Eat your hearts out losers!" - this is what their subconscious was probably thinking. Maybe even their conscious. Probably the latter.

Funny how the world is run on this basic insecurity.

No buy from China. Maybe Target to blame!

Using an off brand video game controller from a company with a history of them working like shit probably doesn't help, either.

I get the thrill seeking rich guy idea, but this just seems dumb. If you are skydiving, or hitching a ride with Bezos to space, you are actually doing something. (Flying through the sky, experiencing the power of the launch and the weightlessness of space). The entire "thrill" of this sub is that you might be instantly crushed when it fails... It's not like you get to go out and walk on the titanic. The sub doesn't look like it even has windows. You travel down 12,000 feet to see the titanic through a camera. I can do that right now on youtube.....
