Post subject:  Old people

When I was growing up I remember everyone saying listen to old people advice. They know how life works etc. I remember as a teen they did say things that made sense.

Now it seems like they don't know shit. Every time I talk to them they always say something that isn't realistic at all.
Am I the problem or did society change so much that pretty much everything is irrelevant now? I have no examples I'm drunk.

SV: I'm-I'm ain't been doing so much drinking, Pappy

SV: Oh Pappy, you just give me a chance. I, I can, I . . .

It's just that I've forgotten more than you'll ever know.

I'll bet he missed that shot and we got called for a foul.

James Augustine shouldn't have bothered to put his uniform on. Refs could have done him a favor and say don't bother, you're going to sit this one out.

Is it bad if your legal documentation related to a will doesn't have the correct names of your children in it?

I don't know who Miles is. He's probably a pretty cool guy. But I don't want to give him my money.

There is no Miles Noisewater Jr.

This has been an ongoing problem for us with a few legal documents we have. I think they have misspelled my eldest son's name in every conceivable manner and put wrong name for youngest over and over. I think it's finally right now. These documents are nuts sometimes and ab out 95% of them seem to be form letters basically. For Dolphin's sake, I'm just glad the lawyers are making money.

It's all boiler plate stuff. I'm not Elon Musk. But it sucks to have read through all this stuff and then find one thing wrong that I will probably have to pay to correct because they mistyped something.

Thanks, good dolphin.

Well, it depends on which countries you are in. Some don’t allow completely foreign-owned. So you have to set up a two-tier ownership system.

I’ll stop now. Doesn’t feel like a Saturday night conversation.

How do you feel about Kirk Cousins taking every Tuesday off during the season for family time?

I always thought of the Greatest generation as the olds when I was a kid( I mean people who would have been greatest gen, Can't say I thought much of generations when I was 10). Silent Gen being my parents Generation could have something to do with that too.

Silent and greatest blend a little in my mind. All 4 of my grand parents were around the same age born in 1927 or 28 which I think is the cut off. They were probably more part of the greatest generation but suppose to be part of the silent. When I was little anybody older than 35 seemed old.

My grandparents that were alive when I was a kid were 1915 and 17 for birthdate. The other two were 2006 but they passed before I was born (Oaklawn tornado of 67 took my grandfather) so it's hard for me to even picture them but they were pushing lost generation age.

The scariest thing I ever heard from an old person was that you reach an age where your balls start touching the toilet water. When that happened to me, I knew it was the start of the end.
