Got to tell Comcast to stick it finally. Fiber is all hooked up and working. 30x faster upload speeds, 3x better latency, and less than half the price. $34 after tax now.

Comcast told me on the phone "but it's GLASS!!! what happens in a storm!?! Glass breaks!"

Then they offered to lower my bill from $80 a month to $24. I asked them why they wouldn't do that before, and they ignored my question

I had to say please cancel about 35 times. Their business is a criminal enterprise.

Damn, whereabouts are you and from whom are you getting fiber? I keep getting the ads from AT&T about their gigabit fiber network, but it's not out in the west burbs yet.

JLN is looking to get away from a DOCSIS last mile network.

Tds. 300 up/down. My old service was 300up and 10down. But the latency is so much better, it seems about a hundred times faster.
