I'll be pretty surprised if the 'showerhead ' pad doesn't melt and throw fiery shards all over the pelicans. But i do think it will make it to Hawaii. |

I remember reading they had that shower pad in development for years. From what I can tell, they wanted that 1st launch more than any regulators did, and I get that. This one should be real though. If they complied with regulators, this would be their first launch and basically a year lost and no chance of orbit. This weekend, we have a real chance of orbit. |

First stage blowed up after separation. 2nd stage blowed up 7 minutes in. No word on the pad damage. |

But a friend and I were able to put together a group. I had to really sell my wife on putting our 50 grand in. She's a lot more conservative than I am. At the last minute, SpaceX raised our share price from $400 to $436 and the deal blew up. The two biggest guys in the deal said, "Fuck these people." Personally, I didn't care about the extra 9%. This is something where I figured my $50,000 would be worth well over a million in 20 years. To me that little extra was insignificant. Maybe that's why the guys who opted out are rich and I'm not. |

Booster was wobbling badly coming down. Flight test 2's problem was the sloshing of fuel and engines failed lighting. Looks like it might be the same problem again. |

starship went to orbit. how is that a fail? the booster didnt land, oh well. the real goal is to land back at the pad anyway. this was going to land an ocean platform. |
