Man, look at that lady dancing around with joy because Jardiance has freed her from the scourge of diabetes, and those celebrities talking about how you need to manage your mental health, and then all those people showing off how nice their ass looks after taking ozempic.

Seems we have moved from beer, car, toy and website ads to a drug ads.

The pharmaceutical companies are incredibly successful at taking advantage of societies lack of healthcare knowledge and convincing them that they need to be medicated, and why not, insurance companies pay for the meds and the public does not see the full cost as they just accept the monthly insurance payments and co-pays without question.

Wondering that if in 20 years we will look back at these ads like we look back at Jack Buck shilling for Pall Mall.

Miller Lite is the best example, they tell you it tastes great and is less filling, neither is true, but they yell it during the commercial in an effort to convince you.

Another interesting part of the drug ads is quiet, rapid fire listing of the potentially fatal side effects that runs as the actors dance around happily after singing about the virtues of Rinvoq or Skyrizi
