I needed a knit cap. I saw one at the store for $19.99 in the Carhart section that I thought was a good one and I put it into my cart after I tried it on and verified that it did in fact fit me. Upon checking out at the self-checkout lane, it came up as a women's hat. Can I wear this hat? Should I be worried about the slippery slope that this could lead to if I choose to wear the hat? Will I be risking persecution wearing this hat when Trump takes power back? Please help. My other option is to convert this into a Christmas gift for someone that was born female. |

It turns out, and I had no way to know this when I purchased this, but this hat can identify as a man or a woman's hat. |
