I think that is completely untrue, but I guess worth can be defined in many ways. The guy has been generous to a fault here with small but nice tokens. He has not said or shown anything I would consider boastfull.

I hope it is going to be a good weekend because I have a feeling you guys will have me feeling depressed when it is my turn for analysis. At least I know TM has a strange appreciation for me.

This is easily the toughest first round matchup yet. Both are worthy to go far in the tournament. I may have to reserve my vote to see who needs it towards the end.

Have I reached the level of See?

Am I now considered a Bishop of the CSFMB?

I didn't see the smoke coming from Darkside's building.

I am humbled.

I agree with GD's conclusion that Slapshot has gotten a bad rap here. While he's not shy about advertising his success, he seems to genuinely want to share it with, not lord it over, others.

Agree.
Kid Cairo is flat out wrong on this one.
Ed seemed every bit as humble as he said he was

You mean like money wealth or like that crappy kind of wealth, like having children or a kind heart or whatever?

If I had interesting stories I would let you guys know. I don't think that being on a plane to Vegas with JJ Walker fulfills the "interesting" part of that statement. If anything, it is only a "neat" story.

Ed strikes me as being proud, but not arrogant. And he's undeniably generous. But his evident inability to articulate his thoughts as well as many others on this board leaves some with the wrong impression, I think.

That could be it.

Hey I don't know the guy personally, but Rooney seemed to have made a similar observation to mine, so I acknowledged it.

Well, I'm sure Slapshot Ed will be happy to give you some kind of garishly revolting special edition college football helmet if you vote for him.

I met Ed briefly at the golf outing, and he struck me like the kind of guy you'd love to be seated with at a wedding table.
That's my 5 minute impression of the guy.

Scott,
I'll vote for you if you vote for me.
Wait, never mind.
I already promised my vote to Sculldog Bott.

I can assure he's neither of the two and plus we have both been seen together at remotes and in public ... Slappy doens't bring much to the board except his Mac love and his over the top drooling for him is gay like at best and don't be to quick to call him a douchebag when it comes to posting about his cash flow because most of the time it's "ME" using his posts and making him look more douchbag like then he already is. He does not know how to put an avatar up so Grid and I do it and know his Password and log in. He's bitched at me but really doesn't care and think it's funny to hear you guys claim he's a dickhead.

He's good people but I think Doc is a top 2 poster and brings laughter to the board so as much as I love Slappy , Doc got my vote.

So does somebody else also post as you in hopes of making you look like an even bigger douchebag than you already are? Is such a feat even possible?

I'm guessing Stu thinks he's number 1--which brings us back to a discussion of number 2.

Almost 3,000 posts and I thought you could come up with something a little more clever than this ya Pud.

I'am the #1 guy here and there is no debate. This place hardley has a heartbeat without me on it. My threads has the most fodder and hits and I bring a swagger like no other. Be a leader and not a follower here Midge and maybe someone will give a fuck what you post here.

I've known the guy for 17 years and mess with him all the time and if he doesn't have a problem with it why should you? If you think for one second that either of us stay up at night worring about what you think ... Then I have a spot for you in the Douchebag thread.

Another tough guy on a KEYBOARD who would shit himself in the real world.
