HHJ is a grinder. He's my vote for 2007 CSFMB Rookie of the Year.

This is a tough one. Happy Hour J may have been slighted with the seeding a little. I went with MU Scholar. I enjoy his brand of humor and numerous Seinfeld references.

In fairness, I made zero mention of this until others started saying things for whatever reason. Even then, the only thing I have is my avatar to kind of make light of it. I'm not sure how the whole thing came about, but I'm not that narcisstic. Close, but not that much.

No sweat, Scholar. I think we've all known others who also like to brag about their size. No big deal. As they say "If you've got it, flaunt it"!

That's it - the avatar is being changed....I'll be back.

You know I like the classic best. That being said, you unwittingly just broke rule 6 of the list I'm compiling:

How to win the CSFMB Now Contest

1. Don't announce who your voting for in other matchups. If their competition wins, you'll lose their vote (and possibly their allies' votes in a subsequent round).

2. Limit your contributions in your own matchup. Post once or twice, but make sure it's effective.

3. Know your bracket and try to throw your future competition under the bus BEFORE you're in a direct face off.

4. Suck up to Grid and make sure ALL his puppets vote for you.

5. If you've been on a vacation hiatus, try to be as witty as possible upon your return to prove that you are NOW.

6. Don't change your avatar mid contest. It screws many people up.

7. Even if you detest Rooney, begin sucking up to him at least a week before you expect your match up to start. One or two good intro lines from him could be the difference in a tough match up.

8. Be discreet, but try to build a coalition among the board's known power groups by complimenting their posts:

-MJH/B&B groupies
-Known multiple monikers (e.g. Grid)
-Blacks (nas, spmack, Kid Kairo, Darkside)
-Old guard (TM, C2C, spmack, nas)
-Newbies (uga4prez, deep, bearison)
-Psychos (mao, tmurph, KS, ikesouth)
-Sox/Cubs
-Young kids (rocksandblows, buryman)
-Girls (Spaulding, Houston, H____)
-Pseudo Intellects (C2C, Reason, etc.)
-Comics (Boilermaker Rick, IrishBoy, Dr. Ken
-The I'm above you crowd (Stu, slapshot, etc.)

9. Don't let on that you really care about winning and losing.

I thought you created your own "omnipresent" group.
